Smartphones: iPhone, Android or Blackberry?
As the world of office communications becomes ever more mobile oriented, many people turn to smartphones as a way to keep in the loop and pick up their emails and messages. With more modern smartphones, the possibilities for connecting to work mailboxes and calendars are quite staggering, and with the array of devices and services currently available, the choice can seem quite overwhelming. This blog post is intended to clarify and simplify some of the major pros and cons of each device, to help you decide which one you should go for. I'll be focusing primarily on emails in a work environment across 3 different smartphone types: Blackberry, iPhone and Android.

Greener IT & Saving Energy
Following on from Haree's post a few weeks ago about our lovely new Toyota Prius hybrid car, I thought I'd continue the green theme with some thoughts and suggestions on how to make your IT setup a bit more environmentally friendly. There are already several brilliant technologies for reducing energy consumption, some of which may already be built into your existing operating systems, so it's worth knowing about these, especially as energy costs are set to increase dramatically in the future.

New Office Number: 020 3358 0000
We have now changed our office number to: 020 3358 0000 The old numbers will continue to work for the foreseeable future, however the new number is a local number so you will no longer get charged at different national rates. This should help bring some of your call costs down in the current and difficult economic climate.

Following on from my last post, this week I'll deal with wireless security do's and don'ts, and give some advice on basic wireless troubleshooting.
